We are predominately mechanical and electrical design engineers, but, in addition, we offer project management services and clerk of works/site engineering inspection from our Bristol base.
Our Bristol based engineers are enthusiastic, very experienced and talented in their field. We like to undertake projects in a proactive manner with a hands on approach to the project. We prefer to see projects from initial concept stages through to the finished commercial product with a happy client.
Houghton Greenlees was established in 1965 taking the names of the original partners, Arthur Houghton and Ken Greenlees.
In April 2002, Tony Bates and Tim Sumner were appointed Directors after a structured management buy out. Since then both Martyn Frampton and Rory O'Connell have been appointed Directors to complete the Management Team.
Most of the clients are long standing and with whom we have carried out many projects. The importance of relationships relates not only to HGA's viability, but also the enjoyment of work itself.
